Private Lesson

Do you want to work intensively on your voice, technique, and performance? With private singing lessons at Babette Labeij Music Academy, you'll receive personal guidance from a professional vocal coach of your choice, fully tailored to your level, goals, and musical preferences.

During private singing lessons, you work one-on-one on topics that matter to you, such as vocal technique, breathing, performance, interpretation, confidence, studio recordings, or preparing for auditions and performances. Whether you are a beginner or already a professional artist: our vocal coaches are here to help you get the most out of your voice.

At BLMA, you choose which vocal coach you want to work with. Each coach has their own expertise and style. Finding it hard to decide which coach suits you best? Our office team is happy to advise you in finding the right match.

Private singing lessons are available at our locations in Amsterdam and Hilversum, as well as online. This allows you to always choose a form of vocal coaching that fits your schedule, level, and goals.

For young children, we usually recommend starting private singing lessons from around 10 years old. For younger students, group singing lessons often provide a better foundation to playfully develop their voice, musicality, and performance skills.

Private singing lessons are also a great way to work towards auditions, performances, studio recordings, or personal goals. Together with your vocal coach, you will work on technique, performance, and developing your own unique sound and identity as a singer or performer.

We offer private lessons for children, teens, and adults. You can easily schedule your lessons via our online booking system and check the availability of our coaches. Our private lessons are taught daily, but our coaches' availability varies. Please note that lessons can fill up quickly and we cannot always guarantee that your preferred coach will be available. The schedule is updated weekly.

Age
For children under 10 without (professional) singing experience, we recommend booking a trial lesson in one of our group classes instead of private lessons.

Rates
A private lesson lasts 45 minutes. Prices for private lessons vary per coach:
- Up to 20 years old: from €52.50
- 21 years and older: from €63.53 (incl. 21% VAT)

DUO AND TRIO SINGING LESSONS

Do you enjoy singing with others? Or do you want to improve your vocal techniques in a duo or trio? In a duo or trio lesson, you'll work on harmonies, timing, and blending voices, making singing together even more enjoyable. These lessons are available at our locations in Amsterdam and Hilversum.

Duo lesson (up to 20 years old): from €80
Duo lesson (21 years and older): from €97.50 (incl. 21% VAT, applies if one of the students is 21 or older)

Trio lesson (up to 20 years old): from €105
Trio lesson (21 years and older): from €125 (incl. 21% VAT, applies if one of the students is 21 or older)

Private lessons at our locations
