RECORDING PACKAGES
Do you dream of professionally recording your own song or favorite cover? Would you like a custom backing track for a performance or a strong demo for an audition? At the Babette Labeij Music Academy, anything is possible! Our experienced production team is ready for you, whether you want to produce a full song, need a backing track, or want to have your vocals professionally recorded and edited. We offer various recording packages that match your wishes and ambitions.
Our producers have worked on projects such as Junior Songfestival, the Eindmusical, KLM, and the Boekenbal. And a great bonus: they are vocal coaches too. This means you'll receive the right vocal coaching during recording sessions for the very best result.

The listed rates are based on recording a cover in its original key without edits. But of course, you can also record your own original song! In that case, you will first schedule a session with the producer to see if your song is ready to record or if an extra lesson is needed (private lessons are not included in the packages).

OUR PACKAGES
Whether you want to write and produce your own original song or work on a cover, you’ve come to the right place! We always recommend scheduling a private lesson first. During this lesson, we will discuss your wishes so our producer can get to work with a clear focus. Choose the recording package that suits you! Below you’ll find our four studio options, including costs and what’s included. All sessions take place at the Babette Labeij Music Academy in Amsterdam and last 60 minutes.
Package 1: Record vocals over your own instrumental track
You provide an existing instrumental track yourself. During a 60-minute session, you record your vocals guided by a producer. Your vocals will be professionally edited and mixed into the track.
Cost: €195 excl. 21% VAT.
Package 2: Custom piano track + record vocals
The producer creates a custom piano accompaniment for your song (cover or original). Then you record your vocals during a 60-minute studio session. You receive an edited and mixed version of your vocals in the piano track.
Cost: €350 excl. 21% VAT.
Package 3: Enhanced piano track + record vocals
The producer creates an enhanced piano track with additions such as synths, bass, and percussion. During the studio session, you record your vocals, which are then professionally edited and mixed.
Cost: €450 excl. 21% VAT.
Package 4: Full backing track + record vocals
Based on your wishes, the producer creates a full backing track, including basic
backing vocal arrangements. Your vocals are recorded during the session and processed into the track.
Cost: €750 excl. 21% VAT.
Add-ons & Custom Options
Would you like to add extras such as a second vocalist, backing vocals, or live musicians (such as guitar or horns)? No problem! Email your wishes to info@babettelabeij.com and we will provide a custom quote.
Revisions
Every package includes two revision rounds:
- After delivery of the backing track,
- After delivery of the full mix (including vocals).
Would you like further adjustments after these two rounds? We'd be happy to schedule a Zoom session for an additional fee to discuss any potential changes with you in detail.
